  • Improves metabolism and brain function – as a known stimulant, coffee blocks the function of an inhibitory neurotransmitter called Adenosine. Additionally, it releases neurotransmitters such as dopamine and norepinephrine which boost the activity in the brain. It can also accelerate metabolism because it’s a diuretic.
  • Lowers risk of suicide and depression – there’s a 20% lower risk of becoming depressed if you drink coffee. People that drink 4+ cups per day have 53% fewer chances to commit suicide.
  • Living longer – with decreasing the risks of developing various diseases and illnesses, it’s logical that the person that drinks coffee will live longer.
