The Best Things To Buy In June

Inside: Trying to save more money? Check out the best things to buy in June to really save. It’s an easy way to save more money without much work.

One of my favorite (and one of the easiest!) ways to save money is by stocking up on foods when the prices are at their lowest. I can buy foods for 50-60% of the regular price.

The best part about stocking up when things are on sale is that it doesn’t take a lot of my time. Just stock up to really save money on your grocery bill. I am able to get my grocery bill to around $50 a week by stocking up and saving.

June is one of my favorite months to stock up on foods. My teenage son is out of school for summer and I need all the extra grocery deals I can get to keep on budget.

We will see lots of deals on grilling items throughout June. Plus June is national dairy month and who doesn’t want to stock up on ice cream?

Besides ice cream, we have so many fresh fruits and veggies for cheap this month. So check out the best things to buy in June to really save.

Seasonal Produce

June is one of my favorite months for fresh fruits and vegetables. I love having plenty of fresh fruits and veggies to serve my family when they are in season.

We love corn on the cob and watermelon with some BLTs with dinner.

It’s nice being able to buy so many veggies and fruits for cheap.

Just because fresh fruits and veggies often spoil quickly you can still stock up on them. You can buy extra to can, freeze, or dehydrate.

You can very easily make strawberry freezer preserves or you can try peach preserves. They are both amazing recipes. You can also see how to make your berries last longer.

If you really want to stock up you can try canning your fruits. Lydia at Thrifty Frugal Mom has a great tutorial on canning peaches.

Stock up on the following fruits and vegetables to really save! Blueberries, Cantaloupe, Corn, Green Beans, Kiwi, Lettuce, Peaches, Strawberries, Watermelons, and Yellow Squash.
